France!

Today, we went by train today from Zurich into Geneva, Switzerland. The train was empty, which was good since we had to haul our bikes around and took up a lot of space. When we arrived in Geneva we were met up by my friends Peter and Piper. They loaded us into a van and swiftly drove us across the country line into France. We are currently in Annecy. It is so beautiful and the weather is perfect.

Tomorrow we tackle the Alp d'Huez. I've done this climb before and it's tough. It's about 8 miles of climbing and my goal is to do it in 1 hour and 30 minutes. It's really hard. I remember 2 years ago while climbing it wondering "what am I doing???!?!?!" because it was so hard, but this year I plan to smile through it all and enjoy myself. I feel really ready and look forward to the challenge. To prepare for it tonight I drank a lot of wine.

A lot.

And then I drank some beer. Probably too much.

I am smiling.

I love France.

Just to let you know there are more pictures and they will be posted to snapfish soon.
I'll give you the password and login when I get them up on the site. Hang tight.

I am only posting a few here to give you the highlights.

Tomorrow will be epic and I look forward to the biking and then telling you all about it.

I feel lucky.

I am lucky.

Love to you all.
